S. DOROTEA The church was mentioned for the first timeduring the beginning of C.the XII centuryin a notification called San Silvestro, made by Callisto II. In1445 the name of S. Dorotea was added since the martyr was buried inside the church. Restored for the Jubilee of 1475 by Sisto IV, it was given to the PadriMinori Conventuali who decided to restore it once again. The job was given to Gian Battista Nolli who terminated it in 1756. The concave facade has tall couples of ionicIoniancolumns and an entryanceportal with a curved gable. The interior has a single nave with six lateralchapels. The base of the main altar, next to the urn with the ashes of the deadsaint, is Gian Battista Nolli’s tomb.
