The 'Mandir' is a 40 minute walk (strenuous) from Richard's Place and under 10 minutes' cycle or drive away. Driving is not recommended, however, as parking near the Mandir is hard to find and private cars cannot access the Gayatri Mandir site without permission. The outside dance floor is used for early evening ecstatic dance and similar dance events, which we recommend. There is a great view over the sea at sunset.
