Tips from locals
Prague used to have the biggest Jewish community in Europe up until World War II. There is a whole area called Jewish Quarter stretching from The Old Town square along Pařížská ulice (the designer street) to the river. It has been completely rebuilt in 19th century from ghetto to Parisian style boulevards quarter. It keep its original layout at some parts and mostly it is a place of a few remaining synagogues covered with mystery. The most significant is Old New Synagogue.
