La roccia dell'Elefante è un grosso masso trachitico e andesitico, dal forte color ruggine, notevolmente eroso dagli agenti atmosferici che gli hanno conferito il singolare aspetto di un pachiderma seduto.
The Elephant Rock, Castelsardo SS The Elephant rock is a large trachytic and andesitic boulder, with a strong rust color, considerably eroded by atmospheric agents. The domus de janas complex of the Elephant Rock (chronologically framed in the final Neolithic, 3200-2800 BC) consists of two hypogean tombs (I and II) dug, on different levels, inside an erratic mass of trachyte which atmospheric agents have shaped it making it look like an elephant. Distance is 15 minutes by car from Castelsardo.
