Tips from locals
A local favourite, serving a variety of real ales This should take you about 30 minutes to walk to this local favourite pub or a 10 minute drive. You will pass a couple of the Indian restaurantThat I have recommended.
The pub to go to in Hereford, big outdoor space for smokers, mix of old and young customers. Great beer, everybody loves it!
It is unquestionably "the pub" in Hereford. At one time the home of the Wye Valley Brewery, it is still their best and busiest outlet. It is a real ale paradise with the full range of Wye Valley beers...and its cheap! HPA (Herefordshire Pale Ale - our favourite) and Butty Bach are still less than £3 a pint - considerably less if you hit a happy hour. It is busy all the time - no loud music or TVs (except for the rugby internationals) - but friendly to everyone and all sorts. We spend too much time here...
