A must see! You can park for free down the Wynding. The views of the castle are fantastic so be sure to take your camera. You can also see the Farne Islands and Holy Island on a clear day.
Beautiful Beach with parking and toilet facilities in the village of Bamburgh. Overlooked by the Historic castle, this really is worth the twenty minute journey.

With an iconic castle which was the seat of the former Kings of Northumbria, lifeboat heroine Grace Darling, who is buried there, an extensive Blue Flag awarded beach good for surfing & walking, a range of pubs & restaurants, Bamburgh is really the jewel in the crown of northumberland. Gets busy!
