Tips from locals
Traditional pub attracting students and media types, once a literary haunt for the likes of Orwell.
This is our Local.. we love the coffee an they do the staples well.. cosy atmosphere and the service is impeccable... Always the place to head for brunch....They are open all day and also a great place to have a wine late at night...
The Fitzroy Tavern became famous in the 1920s to the mid-1950s as a meeting place for London's artists, intellectuals and bohemians such as Dylan Thomas, Augustus John, and George Orwell.
