Tips from locals
A fun stop to get a glimpse of Three Rivers history. Special exhibits include the Mineral King Room, because that High Sierra community has quite a historic tale to tell, and Native Voices, which explores the indigenous peoples of the past. Just pull in when you see the Paul Bunyan statue!
This rustic, little, Sierra foothills place is packed with old goodies and stories. The docent is quite knowledgeable. Easy road access and spacious parking. Trinkets for sale. Definitely worth a quick look around and a read or two.
The Three Rivers Historical Society has been collecting information and artifacts about the Three Rivers area for over twenty years.
