Tips from locals
Also called "Mighty Mo" or "Big Mo," USS Missouri is a United States Navy Iowa-class battleship and was the third ship of the U.S. Navy to be named after the U.S. state of Missouri. Missouri was the last battleship commissioned by the United States and is best remembered as the site of the surrender of the Empire of Japan which ended World War II.
The bridge takes you across to the Missouri which has been turned into a floating museum. On the deck of this ship the declaration to end WWII was signed.
Must visit. Plan to spend a few hours after your visit to the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.
