Just off Boulevard de Cimiez you’ll find the Chagall Museum, one of France’s national galleries. The museum also has a lovely lavender and olive tree garden with an indoor/outdoor bistro that’s great for lunch. Top tip - access to the garden and bistro is free!

One of my favorite museums in this Nice. Unlike the public ones, this museum costs about €10 or so to get in. Great collection of Chagall works if you're into that sort of thing.

The Musée Marc Chagall (National Museum or Chagall Biblical Message) is a national museum dedicated to the work of painter Marc Chagall - essentially his works inspired by religion
