One of the more iconic Finnish cafes. Tiny oldschool wooden cafe surrounded by growing city.
Small historical coffee shop. Really tiny, space available also outside. Located by the bridge which was initially built in 1930s. That started the development of the area. Before the bridge Lauttasaari was accessible by a ferry and on the island you could move around in trams which were pulled by horses. The island was notorious during 1930s (Prohibition) when smugglers used the island as their base. The island was not yet part of Helsinki (it was attached in 1946).

One of my favorite cafes on the island for those long weekend breakfast sessions (they have the best cappuccino and locally made cinnamon rolls go with them well)
