Tips from locals
A beautiful short drive to Mt Warning in the Tweed mountain ranges. Beautiful sacred rainforest with walking track suitable for all fitness types!
Lots of great walks out this way and a beautiful place to be , there’s a great restaurant Mavis kitchen out here too and also it’s close to the tweed art gallery all worth a visit
Recommend if you like hiking. Last 100 mtrs is quite strenuous. Take lights and head up early to see the sunrise.
Historic place of significance. Lush and rainforest and native wildlife. Free to visit. Bring lunch, water and hat. Average 3 to 5 hours to walk up and back.
