Photos do not even do this place justice. Popular among the Alghero locals, this spot is one of the lesser known must-see beaches to visit. The main – and widest – part of Mugoni beach is about 1.5 kilometers long, though the beach continues for a few hundred meters at its outskirts. Almost completely sheltered by thick and cooling pine tree forests, Spiaggia di Mugoni faces south and offers extraordinary views of the headlands of Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Conte and the mountainous region near the village of Tramariglio. With crystal clear waters, fine golden sands, plenty of pretty pine forests, and stunning views reminiscent of sceneries one typically finds in Thailand, Mugoni beach could very well become your favorite beach near Alghero. If you can, do stay until sunset and be mesmerized. This beach is well equipped: sun loungers and parasols are available for rent. Definitely quite far for a bike ride. I would consider the beach bus or a taxi for sure. Make sure you have the taxi number for your return ride!

One of the best beach of Porto Conte Natural Park. I recommend the private beach with parking included Palm beach. 2 sunbeds + umbrella starting at 15 euro. Nice bar for cocktail and light lunch.
