Tips from locals
Adjacent to Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple, this Indian Temple is also an iconic structure in the Bugis/Waterloo area! An iconic landmark too!
Sri Krishnan Temple was established in 1870 when Hanuman Beem Singh set up an idol of Sri Krishna under a banyan tree on Waterloo Street, so as to cater to the religious needs of a large Hindu community. It's just beside the Guan Yin Temple at Bugis.
The only Hindu temple in Singapore that is designated for South Indians. It was established in 1870 to worship Sri Krishna and his consort Rukmini. Approximately 1.9 km away.
