Loveland Pass is the road that goes over the Eisenhower Tunnel. It is the definition of taking the 'scenic rout'. Airy mountain peaks, lush valleys, and hitchhiking snowboarders are just some of the great reasons to go this way. It isn't always open (it's the Continental Divide, after all) but boy if it isn't always pretty when it is. It's a different approach to Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin, and Loveland ski resorts and resort towns. I always try to talk people into going this way at least once, there are at least ten spots to pull over for incredible views a long the way.

Beautiful mountain views and the quickest way to get from Denver to Keystone! There is a parking lot at the top of the pass and a couple of hiking trails along the mountain ridge.
