Tips from locals
Another great place for walks on the water and a beautiful view of the Pacific Northwest. A WA state Park Pass is required.
Watch the setting sun throw Mt. Rainier into shades of pink from across the Sound.... or watch the rising sun silhouette the mountain. Clamming and digging for geoducks when in season.
Should not be missed! 15 minute walk from the tiny home. Nice trails, picnics and beach access. Clamming season March and April. It’s beautiful!
Penrose is a 237 acre marine, camping and day use park with nearly two miles of saltwater frontage, offering hiking and biking trails. The Eastern exposure offers beautiful views of Mayo Cove, Carr Inlet and Mt. Rainier. A Discover Pass is required for vehicle entrance. For more info contact parks.wa.gov
