a 24-acre privately owned public park in Honolulu, Hawaii. The park is the site of the Kamehameha V Cottage which used to be the home of Prince Lot Kapuāiwa, who would later become King Kamehameha V. It is also the site of the annual Prince Lot Hula Festival, and the home of a large monkeypod tree that is known in Japan as the Hitachi tree.
Great Frozen Mango drinks sold here at the gift store. This is a private Garden of former wealthy "property" collector that that imported exotic structures in addition to having a lush garden. For a small fee you can view the large green area and see some of the exotic structures awaiting renovation and restoration. Great swing-over location, but I would not plan this as your primary destination. Stop by and check it out.
