Scadbury Park Nature Reserve has over 300 acres of beautiful countryside to explore. Follow the Acorn trail to see a 500 year old tree, a number of hidden ponds, and the ruins of the old manor house built by the Walsingham family in the 15th and 16th centuries. Edmund Walsingham was the Lieutenant of the Tower of London in Henry VIII’s time and responsible for prisoners including Ann Boleyn, Thomas Cromwell and Thomas More.

Scadbury Park Nature Reserve lies on the eastern edge of Chislehurst, overlooking the valley of the River Cray. This is a beautiful place to exercise and find peace, through the open spaces and woodland walk ways.
