Tips from locals
A great spot to see the view of downtown. Visit the Food Forest on the south end of the park and enjoy some free produce in the patches closest to the road. Jefferson also has tennis courts, basketball courts, lawn bowling, a driving range, an 18 hole golf course and a skate park.
Park on Beacon Hill with a view of downtown Seattle. Jefferson Park Golf course is also located here.
Another favorite across from the Jefferson Golf Course, the Jefferson Park is great for a walk, a cookout, playing tennis or spending time in the mini play area with your kids.
My favorite park in the city, lots of space for any activity, basketball courts, tennis courts, running track, cricket mounds, skate park, golfing near by and play ground. Spaces for picnic and BBQ. Great vista and photo spot of down town from south view.
This park has tennis courts, driving range, golf course, and Beacon Mountain Spray Park is located in Jefferson Park on Beacon Hill. Additionally, there is a garden free to all who want to pick produce and eat! This popular park offers extraordinary views of downtown, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. It is located next to the Beacon Food Forest - "It is a community-driven community garden project that utilizes a gardening technique that mimics a woodland ecosystem using edible trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. Fruit and nut trees make up the upper level, while berry shrubs, edible perennials, and annuals make up the lower levels. The project is located in the Beacon Hill neighborhood on the Jefferson Park reservoir (15 Ave S and S Dakota St)."
