Tips from locals
Big airplanes outside, cool exhibits inside. All at an operating military base. If your timing is right, the F18s will be landing or taking off right over your head.
The museum tells the story of Greenwood's exciting military history. Learn of its heroes through the Museum's permanent and temporary exhibits that chronicle its beginnings as an RAF Station in 1942; to its present day status as the largest airbase in Atlantic Canada. Walk through Greenwood's history; reflect in the Commemorative garden, on those who served their country. See the only Neptune aircraft in Canada along with an Argus, Lancaster, Dakota, Anson, Labrador, Challenger, Hercules, Aurora and Silver Stars in the Air Park.
