National Trust property located on the banks of the River Fal and between Truro and Falmouth. The gardens are delightful and there's a beach, extensive parkland and river walks. Perfect for the hounds.

Just up from the King Harry Ferry on the Truro side at Feock. Extensive gardens and grounds. NT shop, sunny courtyard cafe and gallery.

Trelissick is probably our favourite place for a fairly local walk. If you are National Trust Members you can park for free, and you can either do the circular woodland walk (about 3K so doable with children with the promise of an ice cream!) or you can go and have a look around the beautiful tropical gardens. There is a great shop there, lovely café and even a gallery selling items by talented local artists.

Trelissick House and garden is one of our favourite local spots, with stunning views looking over the Fal River and towards Falmouth. Dotted along the way are important collections of hydrangeas, rhododendrons and camellias.
