Why locals recommend it

At this tiny store stocking all kinds of vintage and modern buttons, the pleasure is in the presentation. The shop, housed in a brick townhouse, is the only one in America devoted solely to the sale of buttons, so if there’s something you just haven’t been able to find, this is your chance. Check out A Guide to Buttons, by the late owner, Diana Epstein. They even have buttons dating back to the 18th century—ask to see them!
