The Country Park is open from 9:00 until dusk every day of the year, except Christmas Day. Admission is free of charge but car parking charges do apply. Astbury Water Sports Centre can be found at the park, and offers various water sports from canoeing and kayaking to sailing and raft building. Astbury Mere is approximately 15 minutes in the car from Sandbach.

There is also a coffee hub and a water sports centre offering activities such as kayaking, canoeing and many more. The mere is no more than 10 minutes away in the car.
