Tips from locals
Bridge repurposed into a community garden; blooms from April to October; plan to wander the shops of Shelburne Falls and grab some lunch at one of the local eateries.
Beautiful flower beds along an old trolly bridge tended carefully by local woman's club. Lovely reflections across the Deerfield River. Can be crowded on weekends so good to go early am or later in the day before dinner. Gorgeous during the full moon. 30 mins from Flower Hill Farm Retreat. The final destination of my favorite day outing.
Started in 1929 by the Shelburne Falls Women's Club, this is what makes our village truly special. It's the first High Line! From May-October this beautiful old trolley bridge is brimming with an ever-changing array of blossoms. You will never forget it.
Now a pedestrian bridge (former trolley bridge) with stunning flower garden and old growth wisteria flanking both sides of the walkway, with some benches and lampposts, overlooking the scenic Deerfield River.
