Norse cultic centre. Scandinavia's earliest known site of pagan worship and rituals. In 1164, it became the seat of the archbishop. Today, history is carried on by the huge burial mounds, the old cathedral, and the museum, with its rich exhibits and guided-tour offerings.
Old graveyards sounds awful, but they are so beautiful! Great view, and perfect walk on a weekend.
