Beautifully restored Victorian railway hotel pub named for the legend that the owner Crocker had built the hotel to be close to Marylebone station but when the station's location was moved in the last stages of planning Crocker finished his building and jumped from a top window to his sad demise! Amazing building full of history, used recently as a set in Pirates of the Caribbean. Just undergone a refurb I think is slightly lacking in character, but the food is superb as are the cocktails.
