Tips from locals
Super trendy and laid back village with a long beach and eclectic dining and shopping experiences.
This lovely surf town is the favourite of visitors because of the huge waves. It is important to mention that the break is quite steady. Underfoot, you’ll find a beach-reef mix with a steep takeoff. The greatest site is arguably the combination of point breaks that run from the headland to the bay’s south end, but beware of rips.
San Pancho is a short, ten minute drive north of Sayulita. You can catch a taxi in the plaza and for about 5-6 dollars you can head over there for the day. San Pancho has some great restaurants and good shopping and a quieter beach scene then Sayulita. We really like the restaurant on the beach on the right. They have great tuna tostadas.
Artistic city with a touch of adventure. Home to the La Patrona Polo Field, surrounded by impressive Huichol crafts made by the locals. Overall a quiet town that has thrived thanks to its community.
