The largest art museum in Louisiana, New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) has a wide variety of artwork. Spend the day outside enjoying the free sculpture garden! Wednesday is free day for Louisiana residents, as is the botanical garden

The New Orleans Museum of Art (“NOMA”) is the oldest fine arts museum in New Orleans. It greets you as you enter beautiful City Park. Behind NOMA is the twelve-acre Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden, featuring over 90 sculptures woven into the beautiful scenery of the park.

The museum could take an entire day to view. It has many collections from various periods of history. There is a Sculpture Garden next door. The park also has amusement rides, putt putt golf and tennis courts.
