Tips from locals
The Robba Fountain is also known as the Fountain of the Three Carniolan Rivers. It was originally made in 1751 by the Italian sculptor Francesco Robba and is one of the city's most recognizable symbols.
Robbov vodnjak - the most famous fountain in Slovenia, designed by Francesco Robba, who almost went bankrupt while building it. Infront of City Hall you can see a replica, from 2008 the original is stored in the National Gallery.
You can find Robba's fountain in the old part of Ljubljana. Here, you can see old buildings and city villas, you can taste some Slovenian food in the street restaurants and you can experience some of the city old towun vibe we locals love so much. Lots of spot to sit and realx, have a coffee or just observe our beautiful city centre and our river Ljubljanica.
