The Senate Square with its cathedrals is the most famous symbol in Helsinki and one of the city's most popular tourist destinations. There are Aleksanterinkatu, Unioninkatu, Snellmaninkatu and along the northern edge of the Cathedral you will find Hallituskatu. The Senate Square and its surroundings form the old center of Helsinki. The oldest buildings in the inner city, such as the Sederholm House, completed in 1757, are located in the area.
