A good place to park to enter the Comal River. Enter the Comal River and ride the chute. Google the chute, so you know exactly how to do this without being tossed out of your tube. Only strong swimmers should use the chute. At the bottom of the chute, you can continue down the Comal River or stop off at the Float In bar/restaurant.
Don't want to commit to hours of tubing? Swim here and go down the natural water slides and tube chutes. A great place for a picnic. This park also has a frisbee golf course.
Wonderful park for relaxing on the river. There are bbq grills, large oak trees through out the park. Popular with families. The park is owned by the city of New Braunfels and during peak season fees are collected for tubing, tube shute, and picnicking.
