Tips from locals
Short walk from the cottage. Woody's Diner next door serves Prime Rib on Fridays and Bear Flag Fish Co. has great seafood. Lido Marina Village is a fun place to walk around with a wonderful coffee place and other great shops and restaurants on the water. Perfect afternoon or night out!
This is the oldest movie theater in Newport. It usually has old movies and other unique showings.
Iconic Art Deco style theater opened in 1938, and the first film it played was Bette Davis in “Jezebel” The reason for that was that Davis lived nearby in Corona Del Mar and traveled by the site daily. Upon stopping onsite, she told the owner “they had better open with my picture.” And they did.
