Tips from locals
The museum houses a wonderful collection of ancient carved stone crosses, superb history of St Ninian and the development of Whithorn. Excellent coffee, light lunches and delicious home baking.
Iron age building has been reconstructed here. Also a centre of christianity with exhibits related to the ongoing archaeological dig. The lighthouse at Drummore is a bit of a drive away but an excellent destination - lighthouse, walks and cafe with views out to sea over the cliffs.
