A one of a kind glimpse to the early days of New Glarus. The museum has curated a little village within its grounds, including an old schoolhouse and blacksmith all original buildings.
The museum, in the heart of "America's Little Switzerland," is owned and operated by the New Glarus Historical Society, Inc. The society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of artifacts, records and family histories of the Swiss immigrants.
