If you want legit Chinese dumplings, this is THE spot. Tiny hole in the wall in the International District. Get the soup dumplings!
Ping does have a grocery store, however, her cafe has taken over. She has ONE of the best 'xiao long bao' in town. It rivals Din Tai Fung (which is a very famous Taiwan high-end restaurant chain) known for it's xiao long bao (when you bite into the dumpling, squirts of juicy soup bursts in your mouth !!!) and there is very little waiting like there is at Din Tai Fung! (tell her Chen Yuer sent you!)

Authentic food (and service... it helps to know Mandarin when you're ordering. Although, I don't speak it and have almost always gotten what I was expecting.) Soup dumplings, mackerel dumplings - YES.
Our secret spot for soup pork dumplings (xiao long bao), that is just as good if not better than Din Tai Fung. But still, also go to Din Tai Fung.
