Many freshwater lakes in Florida are beautiful but dangerous for dogs. Assume there is an alligator in any freshwater lake, and do not allow your dog to swim in. Alligators consider dogs easy prey.

Cresent Lake Park is a great place to picnic or go for a walk/run. Lakeside park featuring scenic views, tennis courts, a baseball field, playgrounds & a dog park.
