Virginia Lake is close!! 2 blocks down the hill from the home. It attracts many bird species. Turtles and darling ducklings and goslings show up in the spring. It is 1 mile around and you can use it's paved or sand paths ...great for a nature walk, jog or picnic.
Beautiful lake within walking distance. Very quiet, lots of geese, and quite tranquil. Very special on nights when we are having one our unique sunsets.
Jog or walk your dog around a small, picturesque man made lake, dug by the Works Progress Administration in the 1940's. A tree lined trail around the perimeter of the lake provides shade. The west shore is lined with beautiful and interesting vintage homes.
