Tips from locals
Cozy long-standing café and restaurant, great view of the Hallgrímskirkja church. Serving traditional fare including fish, meat soup & rye bread.
Café Loki is the perfect place to discover the traditional icelandic recipes. The food is good, for a reasonable price, and the view is amazing !

Kjötsúpa (meat soup), plokkfiskur (gratinated mashed fish), rúgbrauð (rye bread) and flat bread, dried fish, smoked lamb and smoked salmon: Café Loki has all those flavours. You could even brave the hákarl and brennivín (fermented shark and liquor)!
