Jerome is not too far away from my cabin for a day trip. Killer views, old saloons, wine tasting at the lead singer of the band Tools place. Old historic town nestled on top of the Mnt. This place is a must visit. Check out Hamburger Mary’s while you’re there.
Quaint little old mining town nestled up the side of a mountain with spectacular views, wineries, restaurants (The Haunted Hamburger) and cute art galleries and shopping
Jerome is a great little ghost town on the side of a mountain overlooking Clarkdale and Cottonwood. King Mine is a blast. It is a unique Jerome experience.
Considered a "ghost town" in the 1950s, this copper mining town was reestablished in the mid 20th century by hippies, misfits and squatters. Today it is a booming must visit. FYI...anything copper is not local.
This is a fun little jaunt to make your day full. Just head South on 89 out of Sedona and you will make your way to this fun old mining town on the side of this little mountain. You can always leave and head towards Cottonwood and hit I-17 and make a quick drive back up to Flag.
