In my opinion, this is the best beach in Tulum, go down the main road towards the hotel zone and turn left and go all the way to the end and you'll find Zazil Kin. It's a small hotel / bunch of cabins on the beach but you can use their beach and even their sunbeds, chairs, etc... for a small price. They have a small bar and restaurant, so it's good for a beer or whatever you fancy. The beach is pretty relaxed and not too crowded, try to get there early, though, for the parking.

The best snorkelling place, next to Dos Ojos, in my opinion! This is in a salty lagoon with jellyfish, many types of exotic fishes, including lion fish, sea birds, and more! There is a restaurant on sight.
Zazil Kin is just south of the majestic ruins of Tulum. One of the neatest things about this specific beach is you are within eyeshot of the Mayan Temple perched on the cliffs overlooking the sea as you soak up the sun. (Makes for stunning photos!) From here it’s just a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of the archaeological site, if that’s something you want to add to your day. This location offers just about everything you would want, since it services a small hotel and cabanas. There are many activities offered here as well: fishing, diving, snorkeling tours and more. It also provides wonderful relaxation and tranquil water; great for families with small children.
