Why locals recommend it
This intimate, creative space in a great pub hosts something every night of the week. The eclectic range of comedic goodness includes comedy quizzes, improv nights, Queer as Jokes, stand-up comedy courses, and work in progress from top comedians on the circuit, like Stuart Laws, John-Luke Roberts, Gary Tro, Alistair Williams, Tony Law, Joz Norris. Some shows are free and operate on a first-come, first-served basis—arrive before 7 pm on weekends. If you’re not lucky enough to get a ticket, it’s still great to hang out in the bar and soak up the atmosphere, as the space is a popular creative hub frequented by anyone who’s anyone in comedy.

Tips from locals
Great little pub. Pool table, dart board, warm beer, strange locals, free jukebox (with some excellently weird stuff). If you can stomach the stench of urine, this really is a gem.
Consistently named one of the best comedy clubs in London, The Bill Murray, regularly hosts big-name acts looking to test out new material in intimate surroundings.
