one of my favourite "hidden treasure" in Budapest: if you are ready to walk-off the tourist paths, this place is a unique one, definately not very well known. It was built as the tomb of a medieval turkish military-spiritual leader, who was called (by his turkish soldiers) the "Father of Roses" (Gül Baba in Turkish) because of his rose plantations. The hill, where he lived and which counted as an isolated place in the medievals it the richest district of Buda, and many people, even locals do not know that the district (Rosehill) was named after Gül Baba. A place for silence, meditation, tranquility and magnificent views!

Tomb of Gül Baba with maybe the nicest streets leading up to it. Good view with awesome atmosphere of the II. district's hills.
Considered as one of the best parks of Budapest. Spending some time in park is not only recommended to couples, but to all, who wish to escape the noise of the city for a bit.
