One of Londons last remaining tudor houses. Sutton house was built in 1535 by Sir Ralph Sadleir. By 1540 he was Secretary of State to Heny VIII and his as his family home.
One of the oldest buildings in Hackney and National Trust Property. Great for kids and has a little cafe.
The oldest house in east London, red-brick Sutton House was built in 1535 for Henry VIII's first secretary of state. Beautifully restored with real Tudor kitchen. Well worth a visit.
