The national library has a nice section with desks for studying or working. It also has a nice café if you want a more lively vibe.

A beautiful place, old books and a nice ambience. Worth a visit if you love books.

This one is maybe the most beautiful building in Oslo, and has paintings on the inside walls, and a beautiful staircase. There is also a nice café inside.
