We love, love, love the WA state ferries. You can go for a day trip to Bainbridge Island to have lunch or to Vashon Island. Other ferries launch from other locations and head to many of the other islands and over to the Peninsula. Well worth the effort and quintessential Seattle.

Take the ferry to an island! A wonderful trip, great views, and things to do on the other side. Plan your trip online. Cheep and pedestrians pay only one way!

I recommend taking a ferry before dusk. Eating diner over on Bainbridge Island and then returning at night so you can see the city at night.

Take a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island! Super fun way to get on the water and see somewhere new.

Catch a ferry! 30 minute crossing to Bainbridge Island. A quaint town of small shops & restaurants. Bremerton a 60 min crossing, home of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Naval Air Station Bremerton. Tour the Turner Joy, a 1957-era naval destroyer.
