The scene up on the roof is hipsters and Hollywood types before 5pm, but after dusk you'll find a casual vibe of all ages. There’s this huge patio with food, a pool area, and a covered bar area, so you're really not bumping into people. There’s a DJ spinning electronic, golden oldies, and house, and it is LOUD, so you gotta love it! The cocktails really are phenomenal here. Try a French 929, with gin, lemon, St Germain, and lavender. Then kick back and take in the great view of Downtown LA.

If you are looking to head to Downtown LA and bringing you laptop, stop by the Ace Hotel (entrance is located to the far right of the building via the elevator). They have a pool you can use as well!
