Tips from locals
This is the largest park near Dundee. Plenty of space to play frisbee, have a picnic, have your dog run around, take a jog, or just relax and take a stroll. If you are here during July they have a concert with a phenomenal firework show.
Great place to take a walk or run. Huge lawn overlooking University of Nebraska, Omaha.
Enjoy a stroll through the war Memorial park, home to free 4th of July concerts regularly attended by 20,000+ people
Nice walking paths, military memorial for local soldiers. There is a free concert once a year at this park at the end of June. The large lawn that faces Dodge Street is excellent for flying kites. There are two hills (one on the East side and and one on the West side) of the park that are great for sledding when we have snow on the ground. The North side of the park has a beautiful rose garden that is very enjoyable to walk through or just sit and relax.
