Great hiking, sightseeing, lake fishing, etc. Choose almost any trail and you will be rewarded with amazing views of Mt. Hood and other mountains. Favorites are Veda Lake trail (bring some light fishing tackle to catch some small but very vibrant cutthroat trout) and Mirror Lake.

The Timberline Trail encircles the peak, passing waterfalls, glacial creeks and meadows.
