This gorgeous beach is a bit farther (<1.25 hours) from Sue's place but well worth the trip. Through a cave entrance at the right-hand side of the rocky beach, find your way through to a delightful lagoon and rock pools, ideal for kids and less confident swimmers to explore. There is also a larger sweeping bay for strong swimmers. The Rock Pool cafe at the top of the car park serves icecreams, cool drinks and fish and chips during the day at busy times of year ie school holidays

Walk through the rocks to a tucked away beach with tidal pool for kids swimming, waves for surfing and reefs for snorkelling. a MUST do!
The secluded beach at Stokes Bay, located on Kangaroo Island's serene north coast, is protected from the pounding surf by a giant pool surrounded by rocks. This tranquil location can be found by walking east of the bay, follow the signs pointing to the 'Beach' and make your way through the headland of boulders.
