Why locals recommend it
Opened by an American couple who previously ran an underground supper club, this restaurant/wine bar occupies a century-old greenhouse of the Palais Royal. Which is to say it’s beautiful! With about 10 counter seats, the bar is a great spot to try artisanal wines and rotating small plates, like an Arbois from Hughes Béguet with a plate of clams. It may be small in stature, but the wine bar has more than 120 labels on its list. And it’s the perfect way to start an evening before heading upstairs to the Verjus restaurant.

Tips from locals
both on the same street. Great produce, everything is fresh and fairly innovative. Run by an American couple. The Verjus Wine Bar, just around the corner, has nice natural wines, and opens at 6.
Small, modern place serving refined seasonal fare. Set menus only (7-8 courses!) with optional wine pairings. There's also a small wine bar downstairs, no set menu or rez required.
